Getting started
It is simple to set up your personal account and submit your abstract!
The author accounts for the 2025 edition are different from the accounts created in previous editions. You need to create a new account for PVI Course 2025.
First of all, click on the button on the right marked 'Click here for your first connection' and follow the steps:
1- Enter your email address. It will be used to log into your personal account each time you visit the website.
2- Create your password. Your password should be easy for you to remember, something personal and at least 8 characters long.
3- Enter your personal information. All boxes with * are mandatory information and you will not be able to save your details unless these are completed.
A summary of your account information will appear on the screen. To finalise the procedure, please be sure to click on 'Create Account', otherwise your information will not be saved.
Please remember your login name and password! You will need them later to log into the system after a decision has been made for your abstract.
If you have any doubts or issues logging in, feel free to request a password reset by clicking on the 'Forgotten Password' function. You will then receive an email with a specific link. Don't forget to check your SPAM folder."
Information will be sent only to the « contact author », to the e-mail address registered on login. This is why we recommend you provide the contact details of the presenting author when submitting your abstract.
Submission guidelines
Before submitting your abstract, thank you for paying attention to the following guidelines:
=> Your abstract must be submitted in
ENGLISH and not exceed
300 words.
=> It will have to be allocated to a
vascular speciality:
- Carotids
- Aorta
- Peripheral
- Venous
- AV access
- Embolization
- Open Surgery
- Education
- Imaging
You will have to select the category most suited to your abstract during the submission.
=> The abstract must respect the following framework:
- Aim
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
=> Simple tables, graphs and pictures are allowed. The images will be automatically added at the end of the abstract. It is therefore important to quote and identify them in the text.
In order to avoid problems of incompatibility, we ask you to prepare your text with the
Arial font, size 12. The text must be single space and a single paragraph starting without any indentation.
Then, you will have to copy and paste the text (without the title and the list of authors) in the indicated field for this purpose using the appropriate icon

Title and author’s names will have to be typed out in separate fields.
Late breaking Science Submission
=> Late Breaking Science submission opens on September 30, 2025, and is open to the following categories:
- LATE-BREAKING CLINICAL TRIAL - Reserved for first presentations in Europe of the primary endpoint(s) of a new clinical trial.
- REGISTRY - Reserved for presentations of data not previously presented from a new or existing registry.
- CLINICAL TRIAL UPDATE - Reserved for presentations of new data or secondary analysis of a trial where the primary data have been presented previously.
- BASIC AND TRANSLATIONAL LATE-BREAKING SCIENCE - Reserved for late submissions of important findings in Basic and Translational Vascular Surgery Science.
Modifications
You can modify your abstract until 72 hours after your submission.
You will just have to connect to your account on the platform.
No changes will be possible to the abstract once the 72 hours passed.
Publication
The selected abstracts will be published in the framework of the course on the website and presented during the course either during an abstract session, or as a poster, depending on the choice of the scientific committee.
Therefore, we kindly request that you anticipate your availability for the duration of the course.
The Contributor guarantees that the content of his /her Contribution is compliant with the law and does not breach any rights of third parties (such as copyrights, images, obligation of confidentiality notably), either because he/she is the owner of the rights on all the components included in his/her Contribution, or because these components are free of any rights, or because he/she has obtained the express authorization of the relevant third parties.
The Contributor undertakes to ensure with the utmost care the accuracy of the information he/she provides.
The Contributor alone shall be the liable for the content of his/her Contribution and undertakes to guarantee Europa should the liability of Europa come to be incurred by a third party because of the content of the Contribution.
When including pictures in your presentation, please beware when sourcing them from internet. They are generally not free of rights and can expose you to financial penalties (€1,500 per image) from their authors.
PVI 2025 best abstract prize by scientific committee
The scientific committees will select the best abstract for each vascular speciality.
The results will be announced during the PVI 2025 course on Saturday.
The winners will be granted a free registration for the PVI 2026 course.
Registration
The acceptance of an abstract does not mean free-of-charge participation. Registration, travel and accommodation will remain at the charge of abstract presenters.
